A .vamc file captures the instrument model, scale definition, pattern grid, harmony state, and generative remix rules as JSON — plus a sovereignty block naming the tradition's origin and custodian. This means a composition is never just a recording: it's a reusable, attributable grammar.
Every African instrument's cultural origin is recorded in every export. This build marks exports commercial_use: educational-only — the licensing terms for a commercial release are a policy decision, not a technical default, and should be set deliberately before shipping.
The AI Tutor defaults to the CHIKARA Sovereign API. That endpoint is not live yet, so the app stays in offline mode — answers are grounded in the built-in corpus instead. You can optionally connect a live provider below; nothing here is required.
